Altamont Energy Operating LLC Vendors,
There are important changes coming to how you submit invoices to Altamont Energy.
Altamont Energy has been acquired by SM Energy Company. As a result, starting on December 14th, 2024, all invoices for Altamont Energy will need to be billed and submitted to SM Energy Company.
To prepare for this change, please refer to SM Energy invoice requirements:
· Vendor name, remit to address & phone number
· Invoice number, date & amount
· Invoices in support of wells services must contain
· Field stamp validation
· Well name or project number
· Detailed description of items and/or services billed
· Tax line item if applicable
· All essential support documentation such as invoice copy, detailed field tickets, proof of delivery, 3rd party billings etc.
If you are a registered Open Invoice User, invoices can be submitted to SM Energy through the e-invoicing platform. All other invoice submissions and questions can be sent to
SM Energy’s Accounts Payable Department at:
